Filter Housings come in a few basic Styles and Sizes with varying Thread Sizes or With or Without Pressure Relief. Typically one would decide between 10" or 20", then Slim Line or Big Blue, this decision may be based on water demand, flow rates, temperatures and available medias. Media choice depends on
your water quality. The advantage to a Cartridge Style Filter is Higher Flow Rates, Higher Media Capacities, and longer life for those conditions.
Also Available is our RED Housing for Hot Water, great for use prior to Water Heaters to reduce sedimentary build up and prolonging the life of water heaters. Remember, algae and bacteria can piggyback on Sediment and old filters, so regularly changing your filters is important. It's better to have no filter system at all, than a derelict system that is harboring mass quantities of harmful algae and bacteria.
